Halo 5 PC: Guardians remains an Xbox One exclusive video game despite constant requests from the community for a PC version and the release ofForge Mode on the supported platform.
Halo 5 is Coming on PC anytime soon??
There are currently no plans to bring Halo 5: Guardians to PC, according to developer 343 Industries.
Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft’s video game division, explained to PC Gamer the reasons that led the company not to launch a full version of the game on the computer.
In his own words to the PC specialist: “Honestly, the answer with Halo 5 is that I could take the game and put it on the computer, but I prefer that 343 Industries focus on the next project .”
Spencer prefers that 343 Industries, developer of the saga, continue working on the future of the license, which when the time comes could also appear on PC with deliveries to come.
“You can say that we are cheating by launching Forge on PC because we have the tools running on compatible to see what happens,” adds the Microsoft executive on this issue.
The Forge Mode in compatible serves precisely as a test for what may be to come in the future. The existence of a new game in the Halo saga is confirmed, but its presentation will take a long time: we will probably not see it until E3 2018. Yesterday we learned that Halo 5: Guardians will be adapted to Xbox One X to take advantage of its extra power.
